Marisol is very pretty, my sister has her.
If she is selling at a reasonable price I would definitely buy her. Just look at the prices for Lindsey now, lol.
Maybe if your mom is iffy about it you could offer to pay for part of it, or do something nice for her.
In order to get Harper I promised my mom I wouldn't open her until she said it was OK. It is VERY hard... lol... but my mom has finally decided I can open her in June. Thankfully. I just got a car so she was iffy about it but I bought Harper with my own money so she couldn't really do anything about it.
PS/OT: Did your mom ever say it was OK to host Kit-Kat?

I'm hoping to get her soon! I haven't talked about her much with my mom since yesterday morning.. I have been so exhausted from scuba diving, I feel weightless!

I wanted her when she was out, but couldn't afford her. Of course in January I was able to afford her but didn't want to pay too much. Well, I just got one reasonably priced a week ago. I love her! I'm so glad she's mine. I know you will be glad if you get one too.

*sigh* Yeah, after all of this talk about Marisol lately (and seeing all of her albums!) I really want her, too! Funny, because when I saw her at the AGP last year, she didn't call to me. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep my eye out on Ebay for a reasonable one. I hope your mom ends up getting Marisol for you!

I feel that way about Kailey. We were actually at AGPNY for the first time while she was still available. I barely paid any attention to her.

I think it would almost be wise to buy the LE's whether or not you're interested and hold onto them until you decide.
